The challenge
This international events business was growing rapidly but the operating model had evolved by default. The leadership team wanted a more planned approach to scale efficiently for growth.
They asked Change Associates was asked to develop an operating model to enable scalability and the effective deployment of global resources.
What we did
We gathered data to understand the current state, highlighted issues and identified areas of overlap and complexity. We consulted stakeholders and modelled options for team configurations to create greater efficiency and agility. We redefined the balance between central and local activity and explored how to get the best from people’s skills and capabilities.
Finally, we helped devise a two-year transition plan.
